We have been notified of the recent death of Mary Clive by her niece. "Mary moved from Bishopthorpe in 2000 where she had lived for about 50 years with her mother Joyce Clive until she died. She was a very active member of your church, I think treasurer for many of them. She worked as the Chapter Clerk in York Minster. She died peacefully on Wednesday after a short stay in hospital. She was visited regularly by all her nieces and nephews and their offspring right up to the end and over the years has taught us all how to grow old with great dignity and courage." Pastoral Care - Recognised Parish Assistants. If you have a situation or person that you would like the Recognised Parish Assistants to be aware of please speak to Emma Field, the group coordinator or leave a message with the Parish Office We have been asked by the Church Hall Management Ctte to ask all users of the kitchen (including coffee rota volunteers) if they would kindly take home the tea towels they have used and return them washed and ironed please. This is so we have a clean supply of tea towels for the next user. Thank you. YORK FOOD BANK - CAN YOU HELP? With winter upon us all, the pressure on York Food Bank is increasing once again.
