Greetings! A message from Chris – During the occasion of my mother’s recent death so many of you have been very kind with your cards and messages of support and prayer. Thank you very much indeed.
The Ministry Team and Recognised Parish Assistants are here for you! If you would like to contact us for any reason, please do ring Chris’ mobile any time. I am here for everyone and not just for those who have a faith. Because our income has been adversely affected by the pandemic, we are grateful for any donations, do click the button on the website or send your donation to the Benefice Office, Church Lane, Bishopthorpe, YO23 2QG. A prayer for the world God of love and hope, you made the world and care for all creation, but the world feels strange right now. The news is full of stories about Coronavirus. Some people are worried that they might get ill. Others are anxious for their families and friends. Be with them and help them to find peace. We pray for the doctors and nurses and scientists, and all who are working to discover the right medicines to help those who are ill. Thank you that even in these anxious times, you are with us. Help us to put our trust in you and keep everyone safe. Amen.
